It’s been five years since “The Fast and the Furious” star Paul Walker was killed in a car crash, and now there’s a documentary on the way that takes a look at his life on- and off-screen. It marks the first time his friends and family have opened up about his death, and shares untold stories and never-before-seen family footage.
The trailer for “I Am Paul Walker” has finally been released, and it gives us a glimpse of what we can expect in what looks to be an emotional documentary. Among those interviewed for the film are Walker’s siblings Caleb, Cody and Ashlie; his parents; his childhood friends; co-stars like Tyrese Gibson; and other family members like his uncle, who says Walker was a “giver” who made a difference in a lot of people’s lives.
The film will, of course, showcase Walker’s rise to superstardom as an action star, but also explore his childhood and a side to him many did not know — his passion for the world’s oceans and marine life, his help in rebuilding Haiti after the 2010 earthquake and more.
The 40-year-old actor was on a break from filming “Fast and Furious 7,” a series of films focusing on illegal street racing and heists, when he was killed in the crash along with his friend Roger Rodas.
