Anyone who goes to a theme park for the day is looking for fun and thrills. Well, one Georgia mom got that and a whole lot more! This past Monday, Crusita and her daughter were enjoying the afternoon at Hurricane Harbor when she went into labor. Can you imagine being at a hot amusement park, amidst crowds and screaming kids, and then suddenly going into labor? No thanks!
As all moms know, babies wait for no one. The park’s EMTs were called and they helped deliver the baby safe and sound right in the park. The boy, who was named Mathew, is only the second child to be born at Six Flags Over Georgia in the park’s 51-year history. A very special perk of being born there? Mathew and his mom were gifted Diamond Elite Memberships. Yes, that means they both can visit any Six Flags theme park for free. For life!
IT’S A SIX FLAGS BABY BOY! We are thrilled to announce little Mathew was born at Hurricane Harbor on Monday afternoon! Congrats pic.twitter.com/lHtxSnAwjh

“All of us at Six Flags Over Georgia wish Crusita, Mathew and their entire family a lifetime of happiness, health and many thrilling roller coaster rides together,” a Six Flags spokesman said.
This isn’t the only unlikely birthing story to happen recently. Less than two weeks ago, Texas couple Robert and Falon Griffin popped into a Chick-Fil-A for a quick bathroom break which ended with them welcoming their baby girl into the world! Robert, who had zero medical experience, successfully helped deliver Gracelyn Mae Violet Griffin in the bathroom of the fast-food joint.
In a move similar to that of Six Flags, Chick-Fil-A granted Gracelyn free fried chicken for life, as well as a guaranteed job when she turns 14.
Another outrageous story? Last year, a woman gave birth mid-flight on a trip from Dubai to the Philippines on Cebu Pacific Air. The flight had to make an emergency landing in India to ensure that the premature baby could have the medical care she required. Afterward, Cebu Pacific Air granted the mother one million GetGo Points. According to Conde Nast Traveler, that’s worth an estimated $109,000 in points!
Cheers to all the amazing moms out there!
